Fisheries Social-Ecological Systems Research

These are photos from my PhD Dissertation research and related work tentatively titled, “Understanding the ecological and socioeconomic impacts of range-expanding species on the American lobster (Homarus americanus) in the Gulf of Maine and New England, U.S.A.”. I work with and under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Grabowski at Northeastern University. I primarily conduct my research at the Northeastern University’s Marine Science Center.

I was also granted the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Margaret A. Davidson Fellowship. The Davidson Fellowship offers students enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program the opportunity to conduct research within a National Estuarine Research Reserve. I am a Davidson Fellow 2022-2024 at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve and I am mentored by Dr. Jason Goldstein.
